Tough one today for the over 65s at Heywood 2 draws and 3 losses.we had to play 5 games on the bounce with no subs although Chris Turner namely donned a kit but realistically was in no condition to play. Started well with the 2 draws against the strongest teams we were well in each game with some chances missed, sadly we lost the next 3 games only narrowly ,but by the last 2 fatigue was setting in and we were flagging. Special mention for Steve Pownall excellent today saved a penalty and pulled off some great saves,big thanks to Pete Smith for turning out for us today played well thanks to Chris Turner and Tony Sutton for his support
