After an impressive start to the season last month the Over 65's came down to Earth with a bit of a bump today at Heywood. We started off relatively well with a narrow 1-0 defeat against Wakefield and a 2-0 win against Moston but we lost our way somewhat with a 2-0 defeat against Wigan and a 1-0 defeat against Rochdale. The situation could have been much worse without dynamic performances in all 4 games by our star keeper Steve Pownall. We will pick ourselves up, lick our wounds and live to fight another day next month.
