Managers report - Phil Stock 

It was mixed fortunes for the Over 65's today at Heywood. A sluggish start against Wakefield saw us slump to a 3 nil defeat. In the second game against Moston we showed what we are capable of played some excellent football resulting in a 2 nil victory. Unfortunately we struggled to get going again in our third game against Rochdale and suffered a 2 nil defeat. Without trying to make excuses we are an injury depleted squad and the available players gave their all today. We need to take the positives from our second game and try to reproduce that on a more consistent basis. We have a three month break now so hopefully we will return in September with an injury free team.
