Captains report - Les Breegan

Bit of a mixed bag today at Heywood started the day brilliantly beating Claret casuals 4:1, 2 Goals from Tony Jeffrey playing in a more forward position as debut boy Eric and Brian had it sewn up at the back Pete at his brilliant best in midfield Brian and Gary also scoring second game was a  1:0 loss to Salcom.the third game against Panthers Tony got sent off bad for us as he was playing well despite being a man short we were awarded a penalty which i duly missed 1:0 loss the fourth game against Rochdale was a 1:0 win i managed make amends by scoring the only goal ,fifth game a 2:0 loss to Bolton. Big thanks to all the lads today in sweltering conditions special mention for Eric and  Pete  both played excellently must mention Tony too who was playing really well until his faux pas!
