Manager’s report

Today, our over 75s played 4 games at Heywood starting the day at the top of the League by just 1 point above Blackpool and 3 points above Ribble Valley.
The first game against Rochdale was a close game, and we had some good chances, which produced good saves.
Result 0-0
The next game was against Ribble Valley. Another tight game with chances for us, but non taken. They had 1 chance, which deflected into the net. Game lost 0-1.
The next 2 games against Blackpool and Bury were good games which we dominated but unfortunately could not score and goals. Both games resulted in 0-0 draws.

All the players played really well, although we desperately missed Rob Rowney, our main goalscorer, through injury
